THE WORK

Ways We Can
Work Together

I don't believe you're broken. I believe your mind has been doing exactly what it learned to do in order to protect you, and that the strategies which once helped you survive can become the very things keeping you stuck.

Rather than "what's wrong with me?" — we begin asking, "what happened, and what would healing look like now?"

There’s a reason you feel this way.

01 — Individual Therapy

Life makes sense when you understand the story beneath it.

Sometimes anxiety isn't simply anxiety. Sometimes perfectionism isn't about achievement. Sometimes people-pleasing isn't kindness, and anger is protecting hurt. The habits we judge ourselves for were once incredibly intelligent ways of surviving.

Together we'll explore the beliefs, experiences, relationships, and nervous-system patterns that shaped your life — while building practical tools that help you respond differently today.

DEPRESSION

BURNOUT

LIFE TRANSITION

SELF-ESTEEM

This isn't about becoming a different person. It's about becoming more fully yourself.

02 — Trauma & EMDR

Your brain is trying to protect you.

Trauma isn’t only about what happened.

It's about what your nervous system had to learn in order to survive. Sometimes that looks like anxiety. Sometimes emotional numbness. Sometimes always expecting something bad to happen — or never feeling good enough, or staying busy because slowing down doesn't feel safe.

EMDR helps the brain process experiences that were never fully resolved, so they no longer carry the same emotional weight. Alongside it, I integrate attachment-based therapy, parts work, mindfulness, and nervous-system regulation to help you heal in ways that feel safe, steady, and lasting.

PTSD & C-PTSD

SHAME

COMPLEX TRAUMA

ATTACHMENT WOUNDS

ANXIETY & PANIC

Healing doesn't erase your story. It changes the relationship you have with it.

Real change happens when we begin understanding ourselves with curiosity instead of criticism.

03 — Couples Therapy

Every couple has a dance.

One pursues. The other shuts down. The conversation changes — the pattern doesn't.

Most couples aren't arguing about dishes, money, or whose turn it is to pick up the kids. They're trying to answer a much deeper question: "can I trust that you'll be there for me?"

I work with all couples — married, dating, partnered, monogamous, and polyamorous, of every orientation and configuration — because the longing underneath is universal. Couples therapy helps slow those moments down so that, instead of deciding who's right, we become curious about what's happening underneath. When partners understand each other's fears, attachment styles, and protective strategies, conflict becomes easier to repair and connection easier to rebuild.

INTIMACY & SEX THERAPY

Healthy relationships aren't built by avoiding difficult conversations. They're built by learning how to return to each other after them.

04 — Family Professional Services

Children don’t need perfect parents.

They need parents who can move forward.

Separation is one of the biggest transitions a family can experience. When emotions are high, even small decisions can become overwhelming. My role is to help parents create structure, clarity, and workable solutions that keep children at the centre of every decision.

I completed Advanced Parenting Coordination training with Shelley Pollock in 2019, followed by verification training, and have since worked with many families navigating separation, conflict, and co-parenting.

Every parenting plan is customized, because every family is different. The goal isn't simply reducing conflict — it's creating a healthier future for the people who matter most.

Family Therapy & Reconciliation

Families can experience periods of distance, disconnection, conflict, or estrangement that can feel difficult to navigate on their own. I support families who are looking to better understand what has happened within their relationships and explore whether there is a path toward healing and reconnection.

This work is collaborative and carefully paced, creating space for each person's experience while supporting healthier communication, greater understanding, and the possibility of rebuilding trust.

The goal isn't to force reconciliation — it's to support a thoughtful healing process that respects individual boundaries while exploring what a healthier relationship might look like moving forward.
